Criminal Charges for Shooting at People
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arkansas
Kay so my boyfriend lives in russellville Arkansas and he got in trouble with some of his "homies" for shooting at some other guys. Nobody was actually shot.
He is 16 and hasnt been in trouble with the law before...what are the possible outcomes of his punishments?
Re: Criminal Charges for Shooting at People
This could be anything from discharging a firearm inside city limits to attempted murder, anything from juvenile court to an adult court based on a waiver, with felony firearms charges on top of the attempted homicide charge.
Based on what you have told us it would appear that the police would easily figure out that it was an attempted homicide, and depending on what you mean by "homies" perhaps one involving gang activity. Your boyfriend needs a lawyer.
