What's the Amount of a Civil Fine for Shoplifting

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana

I was dumb enough to tagalong with a friend to steal from Walmart. He stole a bottle of cologne and slim Jim's lol. I stole a pair of $18.99 headphones. We got caught walking out the door by 2 secret shoppers.

Anyways the lady told the both of us since were 18 they won't call parents blah blah blah but we would be fined. She said the triple amount of the items we each stole and would be mailed from 1-4 weeks. Mine would be around $50.

Now I googled if that were true and I see people who have stole much less then me get fined $200+. I don't have a job nor money, but I am trying my best and make atleast $150 within 2 weeks. Will they fine me more then that? Do I need a lawer or anything??

They didn't call the police because it's an first offense for the both of us and both were under $20 luckily. Someone please answer, this anxiety attack won't go away until I know lol. Please and thank you.

There is no guarantee how much it will be, I don't know what the minimum demand in Indiana is. Pay it and you should be fine.
