Where to File for Custody and Child Support Against an Ex-Spouse

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California
Hi I am currently living here in California for 5mons now. I want to proceed filing sole custody for my two children.
But I am not sure where to file since the respondent is in WA state. I wonder if it is possible to file here in california since we live here.The children are non us citizen as they were born put of wedlock...
I was not married with my ex although we were together for 4years...
Someone in 2011 my ex received a Rape case filed by one of the woman he successfully got pregnant... She was 17 years old when she had the baby... My ex immediately flew back to US and never came back again... I had our second baby and he sent me money to pay for the hospital bill. After that he never send me support ever again. I learned that he got married already and his wife now living with him.
I learned that he expanded his business. He owned 3companies now and has many luxurious car house and some property. My question is i don't have proof about how much he is making and but i do know he was making alot during the time were in the relationship.
If i file sole custody and child support enforcement how to determine child support?
Is the judge going to believe even though i only have pictures of his asset and company?
Is it an email is a valid proof admitting that he owned a company?

Where did you divorce, and what does the divorce judgment say about paternity and custody? Is the father named on the children's birth certificates?

We are trying to find out where you are now, and where the children were born. That makes a difference in how you might handle this. You stated that the children are not US citizens so that leads us to believe that you and the children are not in the US.
