Minors can move out when they turn 18. Otherwise they need parental consent.

If you are being abused and/or assaulted, you need to contact the police and/or CPS/DHS/DHR/DFCS.

Not even the shadow of a phantom of ghost of a chance. That's not only no, but Hell no. That's, you're dreaming to even imagine it, No.

And you can be brought back home by the police and anyone who assists you can face criminal charges - even AFTER you turn 18 (f you manage to stay in hiding that long).

Sweetie, don't. I say this as an Ohio resident whose parents nearly killed her.

If you run away and are apprehended - and I promise you, you will be - you will either be returned to your family or incarcerated. Every time you run, this will happen, and the more often you run, the more likely it is that you will end up incarcerated. This is NOT what you want, as it will interfere with your schooling and interfere with your ability to get a job to support your family.

You only need to make it until September 8th. Right now, it feels like an eternity. It isn't. You need to do everything you can to sock money away so that at 12:01AM on September 8th, you can move out and never look back. You can call DFS and show them evidence of abuse to get an investigation rolling, but by the time that's worth a damn, you'll be 18 anyway. Hang in there, keep your head down, don't argue with them, do what you need to survive. When you're 18, leave.

Well i have 4 run away reports on my record already. And a few other charges because i do stupid things. And i can switch to my wendys paycard that would be in my name, can she legally take that from me? And it really does seem like a long time away. I just dont know what to do

    Until you're 18, yep.

So...if you continue to run away, and it impacts your schooling, you're going to screw up your ENTIRE FUTURE. You wouldn't think that the dumb things you do as a teenager would do that, but it's true. My younger brother is now 38 years old, and it has been a struggle for him to make his way in this world, because of the way things were when we were kids and all the stupid things he did. Running away, fighting, causing a ruckus at school...he landed in Juvie and later in actual jail, and it haunts him even today.

Alternatively, you suck it up and deal for the next 9.5 months. You put money away, you start making concrete plans, you SHUT UP, you don't rock the boat. You start storing your possessions elsewhere, a little at a time. And then you leave, and you stay gone. Once you're 18, you are legally your own responsibility.

You're clearly not in any danger, since you're not willing to go back to foster care. If you were in danger, you'd know what to do, and wouldn't be at all upset with the notion of spending a few months in care.

    Disagreeable
Re: Can Minors Move Out if They Have a Baby
My sister decided she wanted to run away and make babies. She did not graduate and even when they hire her based on experience, they pay her minimum wage or close to it because she never graduated.
