    Juvenile Drug Possession in Pennsylvania
    My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Pa. My 13 year old was caught with possession of marijuana in Pa. what can I expect to happen to him,he is a first time offender and is getting home based counseling since May 2014 for ADHD and before you ask I can not afford an attorney.What fines can I expect and how long until the investigation is complete will [if]he has to appear in a juvenile court.Thank you Oh and to add he has no other criminal records.

    The public defender will be available to him even in juvenile court if you are indigent. Contact the public defender's office in your county.

    The wheels of justice in PA don't necessarily move swiftly. It could be months before he's formally charged.

    Most likely he'll get some amount of probation and a drug evaluation. You'll have costs to pay, but they will be strung out for a long time (like $25 a month or something for as long as it takes). If he keeps his nose clean, this will eventually go away from his record.
