My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Georgia
I am paying for a room in a home every two weeks. If I am looking to move out, will a two week notice do? Would I have to give a 30 day notice, though I paid biweekly?

Per statute,
Quote:
Quoting OCGA Sec. 44-7-7. Tenancy at will -- Notice required for termination
"If you are not a tenant but are a guest or boarder, you have limited protection under the law. If the hotel owner or boarding house owners wants a resident to move he need only give notice equal to the time for which the occupancy is paid. For example: if payment is made weekly, one weeks notice to vacate is all that would be required. However, if payment is past due no notice is required."

If the owner of the house only has to give a notice for the time that is already paid, does the same go for the boarder?
Opposed to what you stated on a previous thread, the question is not for me. It is being on behalf of my cousin.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Are you telling us that your cousin is living in a hotel or actual boarding house? Quoting random, irrelevant material of which you have no understanding will do nothing to change the laws of your state.
