Where to Find Emancipation Forms
My question involves guardianship in the State of:
Florida. I am 16 and have had multiple jobs since I turned around 15. My father has agreed to get me emancipated but I can't find any petition for emancipation forms anywhere. I went to the court house and nothing. They said they were online. I've looked on my counties website and still nothing. Where can I find the forms?

Daddy signing on the line is not the only requirement. Can you establish:
Quote:
6. STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY
A packet containing generic samples of these forms is available in the Law Library.
•
A ‘PETITION FOR EMANCIPATION OF A MINOR’, must be completed and
filed by
the minor’s parent(s) or legal guardian
or, if none, by a court
appointed
guardian ad litem
. The petition must show the court:
1. That the minor is independent and able to support him or herself, and his or her child, if any.
2. A specific plan for meeting the needs of the minor if the minor is not supporting him or herself at the time of petitioning.
3. That he or she is not dependent on public benefits.
4. The reasons why the minor needs to be emancipated.
5. Evidence that the removal of disabilities of nonage is in the best interest of the minor.

Re: Charlotte County, Florida Legal Forms
Actually yes. I meet every single requirement in all states. I have been financially independent for over a year, have proof, have plans of what will happen and proof to the court of my plans, and can show it is in my best interest. I just need the forms. I can find them for every county except mine.
Re: Charlotte County, Florida Legal Forms
You can either check with the court, or adapt forms from another county.
