Freedom of speech does not mean that you can say anything you like with no consequences. In fact, it doesn't mean what you appear to think it means at all.

Freedom of speech does not mean that you can say anything you like with no consequences. In fact, it doesn't mean what you appear to think it means at all.
Go and get a life. You seem like you want to waste your time writing lyrics about a job that won't even buy you a house let alone barely pay for your daily living needs. If you want to make big bucks then find a job where your skills can be put to use in a legal manner.
Even if this did not get you into trouble with your former job perhaps your future boss might be Googling you and come up with the lyrics. How would you explain this to him/her when he brings you into his office? Your future boss may be afraid you would write lyrics if your upset about your current job and lay you off.
You need to be careful what you post online as it can follow you for years to come. I found out an article I was mentioned in from 1997 in a newspaper. Its still archived.
One can regret a decision maybe not in the short term but in the long run it can haunt them when they least expect it.
Just delete the lyrics and move on. What good will Texas Roadhouse do for you? You clearly did not like your work environment and you quit so its time to move on. Yes your boss may have been the worlds worst idiot but this does not mean you should go and try to discredit him/her online?
What if an employee came across your post and reported it to your former boss. Your boss contacts the corporate office of Texas Roadhouse and they get your IP address and trace it back to you. You then get a call from their legal team or your local police department investigator and then you end up with a charge that will stay with you for many years. What would you say to your children if you are not allowed to work at high paying jobs because of this stupid post?
Please rethink your actions.
