Question about shoplifting

OK here is my story. I have shoplifted on Best Buy. It was a webcam openbox (about 40$). The thing is that I was at the same time installing a car radio on the store. I think someone from the store have suspected me from stealing. But at the end I got out of the store without nobody arresting me. I'm pretty sure they can relate me to the crime with their cameras. And they have also some information about me (name and phone) as I installed a car radio on the store. What are the chances that I got sued by the store? They don't have any proof of me getting out of there with the camera but they have found the box without the camera inside.

First if they knew you stole at time of theft you would have been stopped. Its likely they didnt see. However if the theft becomes apparent due to video then they could pursue both civil an dlegal action againist you. Since they have all your info they can simply turn it over to PD
