Custody Given to Grandma for No Reason
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Idaho

This case has been a long one, you can see that in my previous posts.
Last Wednesday a judge in CDA, ID awarded full custody of my child (mother is deceased) to his maternal grandmother, for no reason at all. My rights have been violated, and I need advice. The judge had a clear agenda before the trial ever started, as he is a former colleague of the grandmother's counsel. He put the burden of proof on me, saying that I hadn't provided sufficient proof that I had been involved in the child's life prior to his mother dying. I guess he thinks my witnesses were just lying. He determined that I had abandoned my son. He ruled that it would be in the child's best interest that full custody be given to the grandmother, and that I pay her child support. My son has been living with me in Texas for 8 months already, but the judge says that the time he has been living with me cannot be used to my benefit because the Writ of Habeas Corpus that I filed in WA (when the grandmother had kidnapped, and was hiding my son) was never served, therefore I had him in Texas unlawfully!! I am not sure what the next step is. My atty is waiting for the final order to be issued (the judge issued an interim order so that I would have to turn him over immediately), and then he is going to file a motion for reconsideration to get my biggest witness' testimony on the record (because she was not even allowed to testify) before he files for appeal. I want to tell the press, but my atty says that is not a good idea. Any insight on this is much appreciated. Thank you

    Disagreeable

Appealing is the only suggestion. Perhaps a change of venue due to conflict of interest.
