How Can a Father Get Full Custody of His Daughter
My ex-girlfriend and I had a daughter at a very young age. She was fifteen and I was seventeen years old. We have not been together since our daughter was a year old, she is now four. We live in the state of Washington, I have been battling this case for full custody for three years now and cannot get anywhere.
Ex-Girlfriend is always leaving my daughter everywhere she goes whether it be with her 14 year old sister who is a dropout and is constantly doing drugs, her father with a restraining order against her and her sister, or her grandmother. Her mother is in jail for drug use and has not seen her in quite sometime now. She has had a boyfriend for the last two years and is currently with him. He has several misdemeanors and infractions in the last year. He has been hurting her for a while now also. At court she denied she was with him when I truly have evidence and is now living with her and my daughter. My ex goes out a lot to go party, drink, and smoke and is underage. We have significant amount of pictures of her with these actions and she doesn't deny any of it in court. She has problems with also cutting herself often. She would text me at times to ask if I could take care of my daughter or have her an extra day or two. Of course I'm going to say yes. My ex has been constantly texting me about money and how she doesn't have enough to feed our daughter. I already pay a lot of child support and she is now working 2 jobs and earns more than I do. That is also why she leaves our daughter at daycare from 5am-6pm. I have a lot of physical evidence from texts, pictures of her drinking and smoking, and of course things she posts on social media. She is constantly posting pictures of herself with alcohol, always talking about sex, or where she's going out tonight and where to leave our daughter.
My story: I work part-time and get paid well and attend school as a full timer as well. My fiancé and my 3 month old son live together in our own home and are doing great. My fiancé also goes to school as a full timer. Both of our families are close and have never been reported for any wrong doings.
At first I only had my daughter weekends and can only get her as far as joint custody goes. I would do anything to get full custody of my daughter as my ex-Girlfriend is not a great example for my daughter and I won't be able to get her until she shows domestic violence according to the judge. I'm not sure what to do next but I'm a 100% here for my daughter and would love to get full custody of her. How would I do about this?

Mom is, even without a court order, the primary caregiver. This is very difficult to overcome.
You need to bear this in mind, too: you're first alleging Mom is somehow unfit, but in the next breath you're saying she leaves the child with daycare or a sitter - which is it?
Your fiancee and your other child are completely irrelevant and it would appear that the Judge has already made something of a decision; fighting for 3 years with Mom admitting to certain things in court is a pretty clear indication that you're not going to be successful at this point in time.

Your best strategy at this point may be to sweet talk mom into leaving the child with you more often - make it very convenient for her to unload the child on you instead of someone else as much as possible.

Ah, the old end-run.

If you're working part time, how are you supporting your household which includes another child you're legally obligated to support?
