Getting Evidence of the Actual Value of Stolen Property
My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
How or with whom could I get evidence of the actual value of plastic pallets/containers belonging to Rite-Aid? Thank You

For what purpose? To determine the value as stolen property? For restitution? Something else?

I suppose you can call Rite-Aid and ask them what the specific type of pallet or container costs.

Check with Rite Aid. Ultimately, that will be the job of the prosecution and then probation if they wish to order restitution.

I suspect that the value is already listed in your charges.

If a reduction in value results in a reduction in penalty, you'd better have a lawyer argue that for you.
