    Caught Shoplifting at Kohls
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Tennessee

So I was caught shoplifting at Kohls about 2.5 years ago. I signed a paper saying I was banned. I was wanting to know how to go about getting permission back into the store. Is there a Statute of Limitations for that? I was criminally charged in the misdemeanor category and all charges were dropped and expunged from my record. It was my very first charge ever. And I feel so much remorse and regret for my actions. I was so dumb and the worse part is, I was an employee there! Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You contact Kohls and respectfully request permission to use the stores again. They will either give you permission or they will not. It is entirely up to Kohls whether to do so or not - the law does not take a position on the matter.
