Is It Harassment if I'm Sending 5-15 Messages a Day to Someone

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida

What is considered harassment in Florida? My boyfriend and I just broke up about 2 months ago and I’m steadily trying to get him to talk to me through Facebook messenger because I really do want to try to work things out with him and he has told me in a couple of months when he gets another place that we will try to work on things. I’m not saying anything out of line. I have cussed at him a few times but I’m not constantly doing it. I haven’t threatened him either. The only thing I’m doing is sending him about 5-15 messages a day and it’s not only about us, it’s about our daughter too and he just won’t reply so when he doesn't reply I’ll send the message again or send him another message asking him why he’s not replying to me. He has talked to me through there but there are days that he just won’t talk at all and that’s when I’ll get mad and want to send messages a couple of different times asking him why he won’t talk to me. I do not call his phone or go over his house and cause a scene. Everything I have been doing is on Facebook Messenger.

I'd consider that harassment, yes. It's also childish and petty.

Yeah ... that's harassing. CLEARLY he does not WANT to reply.

If you have custody of your daughter, then HE can get a hold of you when and if he wants to see her. In the meantime, begin the process for filing for custody and child support ASAP.

He's not talking to you because HE DOESN'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU. Seriously, what's wrong with you?

Yes, you're harassing him. Yes, it's illegal for you to do so. No, he isn't obligated to respond to you, and he doesn't owe you any explanations. You are rapidly entering stalker territory. Knock it off.

You can probably forget about ever "working things out" with him.

I suggest you quit the "harassment" and get him into court for custody and child support.
