    That's the whole point of the thread. Unless she is removed from the home by the state or her parents give permission, since she is under 18 she's not going anywhere. If her parents say she can live with her aunt, she can. If they say she cannot live with her aunt, she cannot. It really is that simple.

    While I agree with you and everyone else I think its been a bit glossed over that her adoptive brother is attempting a non-sibling relationship with her. She should perhaps be discussing that issue with her school counselor.

    Which is why I suggested that she do exactly that way back on page 1. In post #2.
