Use in Court of Voice Recordings from the Past
My question involves legal malpractice in the state of: P.A.

My cousins voice was recorded years ago. In the recording he talked about different criminal activities. It was just talk and no action. Currently, someone has taken that recording and given it to the authorities. Is it malpractice if the authorities do not verify the original date of the recording or use that recording in the court system?

Challenging evidence is the job of your cousin's defense attorney, if he is ever charged and the state wishes to introduce that recording at trial.
