Tresspassing Warning After Shopping With a Friend Who Shoplifted
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Fl

Alrighty. A friend and I were at an outside shopping plaza tonight. We walked by this store that I've never heard of before, it seemed from the outside glancing in that it was a small women's boutique store. She wanted to go in, and I said I was going to Bath and Body Works, which was two stores down from this current boutique. So she went inside the boutique and I went by myself to Bath and Body Works. Keep in mind I didn't even touch the door, or go inside said boutique. Around 10 minutes later she comes inside Bath and Body with a plastic mug/tumbler in her hand. I asked her if she bought it at the boutique and she said yes. 5 minutes later flashing lights are outside the store and a police officer tells her to come outside and tells me to come outside. We both got written "Tresspassing Warnings" and are banned from the area. In shock, I asked the cop doing my paper that I have never even been in that store, let alone take anything. She said it was on video that we were together. So now I'm banned from the area and have a tresspssing warning. I'm aware that this is only a warning, but is there any way this could affect me at all for future things?

As long as you don't violate the trespass warning and get arrested, it will not have any effect on you.
