Help with possible credit card fraud
this is in north carolina.
a friend of mine found a credit card sticking out of the card reader in a gas pump. and got the bright idea to try and use it. so he goes to the local wal-mart and attempts to use it. he tries to buy, i think, 3 of those video ipod type things. the total was around 1200.00 dollars. when he saw that it was going to work or that they wanted his id. he became nervous and left. he got his nerve back up and tried to buy 2 batteries at auto zone. and the same thing when they wanted id he left. he was identified there and the cops came to see him. he told them he found it, tried to use it and got nervous and left both times. they said he would be charged with fraud. but they have not been back. here is where i need my first bit of advice. secondly, this friend just happens to have first hand knowledge of what is probably the largest marijuana growing house in this county. is this something he could use to bargain his self out of trouble should he have to? thank you for your time.
Re: help with possible credit card fraud
If you want to be a snitch, then you really need to be talking to the cops, not us.
Re: help with possible credit card fraud
Better, this person should get a criminal defense lawyer, and talk to his lawyer about the probable charge and whether he might be able to cut a deal.
Re: Help with possible credit card fraud
aaron: thanks for your input. i did'nt except any more than that from anyone.
seniorjudge: why even waste the time and space here to respond to someone's problem if what you have to say is pretty much ****ing useless.
