Can I Sell an Unregistered Vehicle That's Titled in Another State
My question involves vehicle registration or title in the state of: FL/PA
Recently I moved to Florida from Pennsylvania with a car I now intend to sell. Since I had no interest in keeping the car after I moved to Florida, I did not transfer the title to Florida from PA. However, I did get a Florida driver's license in order to establish residency, so I have a car with a PA title with my previous address on it, but a Florida driver's license with my current address. The PA registration has since expired, and it is not covered by insurance and does not have plates. My question is, does the title need to be transferred to Florida DMV and updated to my current address before I can sell it, or can I sell it in Florida with the old PA title, even if my current driver's license and the title have different addresses on them, and they are from different states (FL driver's license, PA title)?
I own the car, the title is clear. Thank you for your help.

Yes, you must transfer the title to FL, prior to selling it unless you are selling to someone out of state. You can likely get away with doing that.

Agree with D.
You are already breaking several laws, not to mention that you are unlikely to find a buyer who will take a chance on buying the car without a FL title.
Unless, of course, you want to sell it for a dollar.
