Girlfriend's Parents Won't Let Us Date
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Oregon & Idaho. My girlfriend and I are both 17 years of age. We fell on love long ago and have always been together since. Recently, her parents have forbidden us to date and even talk. We don't understand why and it is getting to us emotionally. We both believe we will get married someday and our love is unrivaled by anyone's in our town. But, now for the question: can she become emancipated in Oregon, then come and live with me in Idaho? I'm not emancipated but I live alone and away from my parents. Is there anything that can be done? She contemplated living with her grandparents here in town but I don't know if that's going anywhere. We can't talk anymore thanks to her father. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

When she turns 18, she can do what she wants.
Emancipation is not about running away from home to live with your boyfriend.

No. "My parents won't let me see my boyfriend" is not grounds for emancipation in any state in the US.
When she turns 18, she can move out and live anywhere she wants. Until then, her parents make the rules.

Don't get your undies in a bunch. In less than a year you can both be together if you wish. I married my high school love and she still tolerates me so I guess it is true love. I wish you many decades of happiness when you both reach 18.

Your girlfriend's name isn't Juliet, is it?
Dial down the melodrama please.
