Collections with County Over a Couple Fix It Tickets
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: California

So I made the mistake of not being responsible for my actions. I received 3 fix it tickets for a tented windows(car was bought that way). I was visiting my hometown and received them and left to college. I never got a courtesy notice and I forgot these tickets happened. These tickets cost 35 each if I fixed, but now the fines are over 1300. Such a long figure. Is there anything I can do? I was a young college kid not thinking straight. I truly regret and I just feel the fine does not fit the crime.

Odds are, by your choice to neither fix the problem or pay the tickets in a timely fashion, with some unknown amount of time having since passed, your remedy at this point is to pay what you owe.

    Pay it.

    Learn from it.

    Get over it.
