    Getting Emancipated in New Hampshire
My question involves juvenile law in the State of:
I was wondering if I could inquire about being emancipated in the state of New Hampshire. My mother is unstable with frequent arguments and keeps giving me ultimatums about where to live etc. She has been very bipolar with her decisions and is getting worse. I cannot and will not go back to live with my father. I have no other family that I can go to.
I mentally cannot handle my situation much longer.
I also wanted to do this discretely as possible while I get my ducks in a row, and have solid facts before or if possible going through the emancipation process.
I have a job and know how to be independent without a parent. I'm begging for help, please don't push this case away. I also understand NH doesn't allow emancipation in so many cases, but I need this.
I am 16 years old and scared, I cannot stay in this situation though.

    Re: Getting Emancipated
The state of New Hampshire does not have a provision for the emancipation of a minor.

No, it does not. It says that if you were emancipated in another state, they will recognize that emancipation. And before you ask, no, you cannot run away to another state and get emancipated there. Another state does not have the power to emancipate someone who is not a resident of their state.

Then is there anything I can do besides emancipation then?

You really only have a choice if Mom allows you to pick which parent you live with.
