Will Pretrial Intervention Without a Plea Get in the Way of Employment
My question involves criminal records for the state of: NJ

hello there everyone please bare with me as iam very very new to the site, any advice and/or comments are welcomed.

So ive currently been offered two low level positions, one at ups and the other at lowes. i went and took the background check and im real worried because i had a few felony charges but my lawyer was able to get me pti without a plea. now i dont know if the will hold that against me since my PO told me i dont have any convictions but until
i complete pti and apply for expungement employers will still be able to see the arrest. thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to help.

Your employer can find out about your arrests. Whether or not you might qualify for any legal protections against their being considered in your employment will depend on the detailed facts; but it's easy enough for an employer to find a valid reason not to hire an applicant with an arrest history should they not want to disclose that their actual motivation was an arrest history. Each employer will have its own policies and practices, so you'll have to see what happens when you apply for jobs.
