Possession Rights to a Vehicle, Titled to Only One Spouse, After Separation
My question involves a marriage in the state of: Florida

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place. Sorry if I'm not.
My husband bought me a vehicle a year ago to be able to go back and forth to work and transport our son around. I don't have credit, so I was unable to put it in my name. The truck is completely in his name. Except insurance is in both of our. We recently split and he came and took the truck from me. I am now without a vehicle. Having a hard time finding a ride to and from work and taking my son to appts and etc. Do I have any rights? Can he just take the truck from me like that?

Please help. So lost! Thank you!

If by "We recently split" you mean that you are involved in divorce proceedings, or legal separation proceedings through a court, you can petition the court for access to a vehicle.

What if no divorce proceedings have been initiated and wifey just made hubby leave home without anything but the clothes on his back? Can husband legal take car from wife under same circumstances described above.
