Is this the guy suing Benjamin Moore trying for a public opinion poll clandestinely? Of course if he is from Arkansas, that would explain a lot. I was amazed at some of the local color the 6 months I worked there. Did you know it is legal in Arkansas to burn your own house to the ground as long as you do not claim insurance. I discovered this one day while passing a burning house, with no one there, no firetrucks or anything. My state resident coworker could not understand why I thought it was odd.

You were told early in the thread that you can go to court and petition for a change of name.

As long as you can show that you're not using the name change to get out of debts, hide from the law, or perpetrate a fraud, such an order is usually granted.

Costs and procedures vary by jurisdiction. Wander down to the Probate Court tomorrow and find out what you need to submit, then do it.

as long as you do not do it to commit insurance fraud or the act endangers another's person or
property, there is no reason it should be illegal
