    Sublease Doesn't Match Oral Agreement
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wisconsin.

Alright, so I agreed to sublease for who I thought was my friend. He agreed to pay for May and June and I have proof (shown below; I'm red, he's black). The issue is, in May he sent me the sublease form that stated I would pay for June and July ...I naively put my trust in this kid and now I think I might want to take him to court. The only problem I see is I did sign the "agreement" thinking that everything would be as agreed upon. . .misplaced trust.

I guess what I'm asking is, do any of you fine folks think I have a chance to win a court case if I plead that I was taken advantage of - or will I have to live with the mistake of not looking over the agreement thorough enough? I really think that mistake has done me in but I do have evidence of him saying he would pay for June, 18 days before he wrote out on the sublease agreement form on May 28th, that I would pay for June.

Re: Was Tricked into Signing an Inaccurate Agreement
You're presumed to read documents you sign. Verbal statements don't mean much especially when they are in contradiction of the papers you signed.
