Is an Electronic Signature on a Lease Enforceable in California
My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California

Is there legal precedent that allows for electronic signatures on a vacation rental agreement in contrast to print/sign/scan/email the agreement? It is an agreement that would be assessable online. I've seen case and statutory law that says its OK when signing stuff for public entities, but what about a private company?

Electronic signatures are generally valid in California and the 46 other states that have enacted the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (and also for interstate contracts, under the ESIGN Act).
