Updating a Passport After Marriage to a USA Citizen
    Hello All,
I am a philipino and married to us citizen she came to philippines for marriage. I already have philipino passport which was issued before marriage. Now she is going to file immigration i-130 for me. I want to know that do i need to change my current passport as i have married to us citizen so is the usa embassy going to ask me to have a new passport in which my marital status should be mentioned ? i.e my wife name. Or will i get the immigration visa on my old passport? which was issued when i was unmarried.
    Thanks in advance
    Cheers!

I doubt that the USCIS will have any difficulty figuring out that you got married, based upon your passport and marriage certificate, but you are free to update your passport consistent with the laws of the Philippines.
