Talk to the DSO about the possibility of getting approval for work. What year are you? If you are a senior, there may be jobs as a grader in your major department.

I will try to apply for off campus employment authorization with USCIS and see what happens.

At your level, there are few departmental options.

I suggest that your family try to come up with the funds.

The biggest issue is not to incur an illegal overstay which can/will prevent you from coming back to study.

I am legal to stay right now because I am in good standing and registered for the next term. Till my scholarship appeal results aren't out and bills are not posted, I can stay and work out something.

But, I think I will be fine with regards to the appeal, I just had a depression for 20 days and then recovered well enough to perform commendably throughout the term. I couldn't recover the GPA because I missed classes, tests and homework in those 20 days but the rest of my semester proves quite well that I can perform well! :)
