Driving Without Headlines On
My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Georgia
I was ticketed a couple days ago in Roswell, GA for not having headlights on while it was raining.
My main objections to the ticket are:
1. The officer claimed to have given me a warning over his speaker (which I did not hear, otherwise I would have turned my headlights on, of course)
2. It had just started raining
3. I was sick with a flu and the officer insisted that there was nothing wrong with him lecturing me while half of my body continued to get wet.
4. My car has daytime running lights which were on.
Does anyone know if any of these things will hold up in court as a defense? If none of these things will hold any water, I'd rather not take time off work to go to court only to be denied.
Thanks!

DRLs are not headlights. You driving while ill isn't the officer's problem. Just started raining and not hearing the officer's warning is not particularly exculpatory either.

None of them are grounds for violating the law, sorry.
