    1.) There are no circumstances whatsoever under which a 13 year old can be emancipated. In any state.
    2.) There is only one state where a 14 year old can ever be emancipated; that state is not Florida; even in that state in order to be emancipated that young you'd better either be a nationally known athlete or child movie star.
    3.) Even once you reach the age to be emancipated, if you need someone else to support you then BY DEFINITION you do not qualify. Emancipation does not mean "divorcing" your parents in favor of another supporting guardian; it means that you, all by yourself and unassisted, are able to pay your own rent, utilities, food, clothing, transportation, medical care, school supplies, staples...
    4.) And we cannot get away from the fact that in your state, if your parents do not sign the emancipation petition, you're licked before you start.

    No exceptions.
