    Child Caught Shoplifting Alcohol
What would be the penalty for shoplifting alcohol from Walmart? I am 13, and live in Texas. I have probably already taken somewhere around 10 bottles in the past week and gotten away with it. I'm not sure if it matters, but I've been sent to an alternative school 3 times now.
First time - Fighting and numerous counts of assault - 57 days and got a ticket for assault
Second time - Receiving oral sex in the school restroom (lol) - 30 days
Third time - (I am serving my third time here right now until the end of the school year) Persistent misbehavior (One fight, vandalizing my teachers desk, and distribution of a counterfeit controlled substance) - 65 days
Not sure if any of that matters or will affect the penalty, but would I just get fined for shoplifting alcohol and have to serve community service? Or could I possibly be sent to a juvenile detention center? If so, about for how long?

The juvenile court isn't an adult court. When you prove to the court that you are irresponsible and are not willing to take advantages of opportunities to correct your bad behavior, the court can lock you up. The court can, in its discretion, keep you locked up until you age out of the system. I'm not sure if your oral sex charge involved a girl or a boy, but be aware that juvie isn't going to be mixed-gender.

And be aware that when you screw up in Juvie, it is just going to make you spend more time there until you age out. Keep racking up charges and instead of aging out at 21, you may turn 18 and get an upgrade to Big Boy Prison.

Where the hell are your parents????????????? I'm sure they are looking forward to more charges against you and paying restitution for the liquor.
