How Does Emancipation Work at Age 16
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Wisconsin.
Im 16 , and I've been thinking of emancipation. I don't have a job. Since my mother doesn't let me so how would that work? Honestly if i was emancipated i could live off my self. Im a mature person, would keep going to school, doesn't go out at all, don't get into trouble or anything. I just think im better off by myself. Im mature enough to take care of my own. Work , go to school, pay for my own stuff. I just want to know if you can get emancipated in Milwaukee , Wisconsin.

Unless you can prove that you're already capable of fully supporting yourself, no.

You don't have a job = not a chance at emancipation.

It wouldn't. If you don't have the means by which you can pay 100% of your own support, alone and unassisted, BEFORE you go into court, you will not be emancipated. No judge has ever approved the emancipation of a minor on the basis of what they plan to do once they are on their own. If it isn't already in place, you're licked before you start.

Emancipation is not and never was a means by which a minor could leave home. It was and is intended as a means to give legal protections to those minors who, for reasons outside their own control, found themselves living on their own.
