Permanent Resident Based on Marriage, but Not Living in the U.S.
My wife is a Permanent Resident, and holds a 10 year card. Her 10 year card will expire in 2 years.. We have been married for a decade, and we have 2 sons who are US citizens.
She wants to become a citizen, but we recently moved out of the US, so she has not lived in the US continuously for the 5 years, though we do maintain an address there.
What options are there for her to become a citizen? And will we have to move back for her to apply?

You are going to need a US immigration attorney for this one...its well beyond the scope of an internet forum. However I am quite certain that the fact that you don't currently live in the US is going to complicate things at best, and make it impossible at worst. Her US residency is also at risk. These are things that you really should have addressed BEFORE you moved out of the US.

I agree, but I'm just wondering what to do at this point. Both of our families are in the US, and we will be spending time there for years to come, so need to get something permanent sorted.

Then again, you need to be consulting a US immigration attorney.
