Textual Harrassment
My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Nevada
An employee has some inappropriate text messages in a phone and says they are from a supervisor. The supervisor's name is never seen and the phone number is not a regular cell phone number. It cannot be traced as belonging to the supervisor. The substance of the messages could, however, be attributed to the supervisor due to content. We cannot corroborate the accusations. What steps should be taken?

When you confronted the supervisor, what happened?

We have not done so yet, as if he denies it, what can we say?

Re: Textual Harrassment
You know the circumstances, the employee and the supervisor better than I do. What does your gut tell you? Not, what can you prove or, what are our legal liabilities (we'll address that later) but do you believe, deep down, that the supervisor did or did not send these texts?
I'm going somewhere specific with this.
