Re: A Friend Was Dating a 17 Year Old, He is 19. Pregnancy, Abortion, and Her Parents
Where is the proof that your friend was responsible for the pregnancy?
(See how that goes? :) )

Ah, I understand. But, what about texts between the two? They discussed her pregnancy and their options over text.
Re: A Friend Was Dating a 17 Year Old, He is 19. Pregnancy, Abortion, and Her Parents
That is not proof of anything but that they discussed it. It is not proof of paternity.
Re: A Friend Was Dating a 17 Year Old, He is 19. Pregnancy, Abortion, and Her Parents
Even if you talked about it....well, aborted baby = no DNA testing = no proof of paternity.
(Don't take this the wrong way I'm not saying she was cheating) - she can say it's yours, but again...there is no physical proof. I'll use a former friend as an example: "Jane" kept breaking up "Jeff" and "Dan", and switching between the two. So when she became pregnant and had the baby, blood testing had to be done to figure out which one actually was the dad...turned out it was an entirely different person.

Ahhh, that makes sense. So, even if they talked about him being the father and he believes he's the one that impregnated her, unless there is physical proof, it cannot be tied to him? Thank you so much for helping, and he's learned his lesson.

In a nutshell, yeap.
