What's to prevent ex from continuing to harass me?

Because the court isn't going to allow her to do this every week, month, or even every year. But the courts DO provide that PERIODIC review of income is a standard part of the child support process. If she's "harassing" you for review more frequently than allowable or common in your state, then you or your attorney can ask the court to shut her down.

Can I use that as grounds for noncompliance?
Not successfully. The judge has already ORDERED you to comply.

Then you will be looking at a future that at the very least will mean that future interactions will be before a judge that you've alread pissed off, and who will get to smack you for being naughty by fining you, by imprisoning you, by coming up with a number (with mom's smiling help, no doubt) as your income since you refuse to provide ACTUAL numbers, or all of the above. In short, it ain't good for you any way you slice it.

Will it keep ex from obtaining a larger CS amount?
Probably the opposite. If you refuse to comply, then there's no reason for the court to even blink when mom tells the judge that she heard thru the grapevine that you got a big promotion and a hefty raise. The judge could simply double (or more, depending on how long ago the last review was) your income to cover the possible numbers you refuse to disclose, and base your new support amount off THAT number. If that happens, don't expect the court to allow you to challenge the ruling until the NEXT review period comes around in a couple of years. Get off your duff and provide the info before you find yourself unable to even sit on that duff because of the judge's boot sticking out of it.
