Convicted of Dealing Drugs Based on a Relative's Accusation
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Pennsylvania county is[B Montgomery[/B] town [/U]Norristown I was accused of selling and convicted of drugs, which was crack cocaine. I do not drink or get high ever. I am the of three children and I happen to be just talking to a relative and a raid took place out side in front of my grandmothers place. The officer never went by asking me question but listened to my cousin and i was convicted of everything. Did not have the money to fight it in court but now my name is ruined because of it. It has been four years since it happened but I can not get a job to provide for my children. I am black and aware that the count I live in is very bias and convicts all blacks whether there guilty or not. I had to lie and take a plea to keep from going to jail. Never been in trouble my whole life until that day. Please help me!!!!!!
Re: How to Have This Charge Removed
You were convicted. How do expect to have a charge removed if you already copped to it? How long ago was the plea?

Your conviction probably has more to do with your ignorance than anything else.
Re: How to Have This Charge Removed
After seeing this again, I see that you have been found guilty at least four years ago. Your window to appeal a conviction is usually 30 days. You were not convicted of possession for your consuption, you were convicted of selling. How can you haev something removed based off the limited information that you've provided.
Re: How to Have This Charge Removed
No expunction of felonies or misdemeanors in Pennsylvania. You can try for a pardon, but it takes a compelling reason and nothing you've said is particularly compelling. You would be well advised to consult with a lawyer on such an attempt. There's more to this than you are sharing with us. A felony isn't one court appearance nor a single officer's action (even if you are black and you pled guilty).
