What are the Chances of Getting H1-B Visa
I achieved a 2:1 in BSc Information and Communications Technology and I have 18 months experience in the field I want to go into (IT Support).

Do I even stand a chance of getting a company to sponsor me for a job? I'm looking at Virginia or DC as that's where I have relations.

    Thanks for any advice.

H1-B's are issued when an employer is unable to find an American to fill the position. What do you think are the chances, with the American economy and job market the way it is, that an employer will not be able to find an American with 18 months or more experience in IT support?

You have to find an employer on your own initiative.

    This is what I thought.

Do you know of any websites or places to look and apply for jobs? I found a lot of dodgey sites wanting money for services.

I'm not actually convinced it would be worth your time, to be honest.

As cbg intimated, the chances of a company being unable to find someone with the same qualification and experience are slim to none.
