First time retail fraud, second offence
I was caught stealing a pair of boots from meijer, paid the $200 to them and now have to go to court. about a year prior I was caught with some pot, and pleaded under 7411. Now, I was told that once I completed the probation with the 7411 charge that it will be erased from the records. My question is, when I go into court for the shoplifting charges and they ask me if I have any prior charges, do I have to tell them that I was caught with pot even though I completed the probation under 7411?
It would be nice to hear back as I just found out about this site today and I have to go to court tomorrow.

If it's the same county, your probation officer will probably already know from the probation records. You can certainly say you have no prior convictions, but if they're actually asking about charges you do have the prior charge.
