If they are investigating, then there would be no need to talk to the local cops. But! The FBI will NOT investigate this sort of offense - sorry; so if the FBI "validated" this somehow, it was not the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

You must know then that they only take cases that have a certain amount of damages. My 3k is not enough. I don't care if you believe me. I wanted to know what would happen to the father of my children if I pursue this any further. The evidence is real.

There's no "network of hackers" on the planet that is going to do a tenth of what you suggest in order to pocket less than $3,000. The FBI does not investigate reports of a "network of hackers" to the point of "validating" the report, then arbitrarily drop the case because the damages claim that they've known from day one is less than $3,000. Please stop making stuff up.

No, the FBI is not involved in this. If someone claiming to be with the FBI told you that they were looking into this, they were full of it.

What charges anyone might face would depend on the charges filed. Since it appears that no one is taking the matter seriously, right now he risks nothing.
