What is the Legal Age for Minor to Make Decision on Visitation
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Arkansas
I'm the full custodian of my son which has now turned 13. My ex husband has supervised visitation through his parents due to cohabitation. However, My ex husband doesn't always see my son when my son goes every other weekend. Its only at my ex's convenience when he sees him so the grandparents spend more time with him then his dad. My son is also a type 1 diabetic on a insulin pump so his medical care is quite intense sometimes. My son has gotten to the point that he says he wished he could go over there when he wants to and not when the court order visitation tells him he has to. Is there anything i can do to change this and really what are my and my sons legal options.

Also I'm remarried and have been married for 12 years. My ex cheated on my while i was 7 months pregnant with my son. The woman he cheated on me with he married for only 4 years and then cheated on her.....he has a deep past. We also live about an hour away from each other, but i meet the grandparents half way every other weekend for visitation. Since my ex is not really seeing him does the visitation still hold up with the grandparents as well?
Re: What is the Legal Age for Minor to Make Decision on Visitation
The legal age at which a child can decide whether or not to visit the other parent is 18.

If the grandparents are his supervisors you cannot deny them the right to pick up the child on his behalf. You could take it back to court to see if some adjustment could be made however I don't know how far you would get with that.
You might want to get a consult with a local attorney. They would no better the climate of your local courts.
