Car Passenger Caught with an Open Container

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Nevada

I was in Vegas in 2010, I got a ticket for open container as a passenger. I completely forgot about the ticket until now.
I checked my files and it says that it turned into a misdemeanor. What my question is..
Can I go see a judge and get that reduced to an infraction if I agree to pay the fine? Im paying it either way..
and if not, can an attorney do this for me?
