    Threatened by a Sex Offender
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

Ok. So I fell from grace and had fling with a man I thought I knew pretty well. It didn't take long before I began to feel uneasy, and tried graciously to back out of the fling. He is retaliating and threatening to tell my boy friend and the Board of directors where I work about everything. He says hell print out the texts btwn us and mailing them. Then come to find out he's a lifetime register sex offender. Now I feel real stupid.

I keep telling him (via texts) to leave me alone. He doesnt know that i found out about his record. He is now saying the letters will go out in tomorrow's mail. I'm scared. (His text just came through as i was typing this!!) I don't know what to do. I don't inow what my rights and protections are. Am I just screwed?

Unfortunately you can't stop him from telling the truth to others, although you might be able to get an anti-harassment order (or its Texas equivalent).

    Disagreeable

Tell him if he continues to harass you or contacts you again, you will file for a no contact order and trash what little ability he still has to get a job.
