Can an Adult Compel a Possible Father to Take a DNA Test
My question involves paternity law for the State of: Arkansas.
I am 27 years old. My mother had a fling going with a coworker when she was a young teenager. By the time she realized she was pregnant she was no longer working there and was unable to locate the father. Now 27 years later I finally found him about 4 months ago. I offered to him to pay for the DNA test and he is refusing. Does he legally have to do a DNA test since I'm an adult?

    Disagreeable
Re: I'm a Legal Adult and Just Found My Dad. Does He Legally Have to Take a DNA Test
Nope. He does not. Further he can fully disinherit you even if he is your dad.

He would not legally have take a DNA test if you were a minor, either, for anything short of a court order.
