When I say 'be with' I mean sexual contact. You still say it is legal? Father is still around but is talked to in the same fashion by the mother. They also do not get that it is about her young age and not being mature enough for an adult relationship. They bring up the fact that he is a black male and she is a white girl indicating belief that this is the issue at hand.

She shows signs of pregnancy, (Belly and boobs).

She's 12, it could just be puberty. Not saying it definitely is just indicating a potential harmless explanation.

That being said, a 12 year old and a 19 year old is an odd pairing. But as long as there is no inappropriate behavior, there is nothing illegal with it.

Thank you cbg, I did read that. Sorry, just getting used to this forum. I was replying to Dogmatique that had said "It is perfectly legal" and wanted to make sure they really felt this way. For everyone here I want advice based on "IF" there is sexual contact going on.(I realize proof is needed.) I just think momma is trying to pick up another social security disability check wanting her daughter to get pg. It discussed me for a parent to use her child in that fashion. Yes, she would do these type of things as hard as it is to believe.

I actually just thought of something else...what if the young man is a family friend who is just being nice to the 12 year old, and maybe treating her to the occasional outing, and she is fantasizing it into a romantic relationship? That absolutely could happen. Imagine the mortification grandma would be heaping on her grandchild if that is the case?

No, Not according to FB, and her mothers acknowledgement. (Gettin them bitches and them hoes statement says it all to me on his profile')I am not some grandmother that steps in unless it is absolutely necessary. I took care of all three of my grands (I still had two of my own to raise) for about a year and a half, while both parents worked on getting their life together some years back. The two oldest ones still ask if they could come and stay with me. Right now the eldest grand writes out her mothers bills to pay each month or they wouldn't get paid. I believe in parents raising their children if at all possible. This just has me turned inside out.

Well, if she's pregnant that will be perfect evidence that a law has been broken.

You should perhaps consider another consequence: That both parents will exclude you completely from theirs and their child's life.

Grandma, that statement on his facebook page doesn't prove anything about your granddaughter. All it proves is that he is posturing on facebook. Some of these young people state the most outrageous things on facebook that have nothing at all to do with the reality of their lives. I see it all the time. I am constantly getting on my now 26 year old daughter for the ignorant way that she uses text-speak on her facebook page, because it makes her sound ignorant in my opinion.

    Re: Concern for Minor
At this point, I suggest you wait to determine if she is pregnant and proceed from there if she is.
