Can My Family Help My Girlfriend Run Away from Her Guardians

My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Florida
My girlfriend is living with these drunk grandparents cause her dad gave her up cause he had too many kids. She's 17 turning 18 in February. Her mom did die. She's been bounced from family to family but she's living with drunks now. It's gotten so bad the yelling degrading her and slapping her once in a while has gotten worse. My family is taking action and buying her a plane ticket and sending her to her moms family. Where she should of went in the first place but were wanting to sneak her out. Just disappear one day. Can we or she get in trouble for doing this? She needs to get away or they will hurt her and she can't go to foster care. she needs family.

I'm afraid they will hurt her worse if we don't get her out. Its a very difficult situation and we can't risk her getting hurt.

She's 17? Your family need to NOT do a darned thing, or risk felony charges.

And I mean felony charges. This is NOT to be ignored.

She turns 18 in Feb? She needs to wait until she's 18

If she's in danger of being hurt she CAN go to foster care

As a minor it won't be up to her ...she either gets out via the options available or she stays

It seems option A is make your family criminals and Option B she waits a few months. I would go for B.

You and your family can go to jail for doing this. She can get sent back where she came from or put in juvie or foster care. February is not that far away.
