Accused of Denying Visitation When the Child Was Asleep
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: TEXAS
The custodial parent hasn't working, he has no placed to lived. court order visitation are 1ST,3RD AND 5TH weekend of the month, 6 pm Friday to Sunday. exchanged place at the PD. He only visit the child whenever he wants too. conversation through text msgs . 2 hrs in advance , That his going to pick the child up at following day Saturday with his own specific time. Which is i replied that based on CO 6pm. If he missed his visitation time . He needs to wait on his other day of visitation.
two hours after 6pm. he sent a message that his on the way to pick the child up. my replied was she is already sleep and is too late now.
at the following day,The police called me and said that i denied the NCP PARENT visitation, and police stated that i didn't open the door when he was at my place. and everything my ex said was documented and sent it to the DISTRICT ATTORNEY, and held me to contempt because i did a felony case.
i feel like they are trying to intimidate me, i explained to the police that i am work i cant get off early, i cannot worked it out whenever his convenience. but never listen to me.

    question?
how to stop the police treating me this way. i feel like they are discriminating,
i have all records from all his txt msgs.

    First question.

Does your order SPECIFICALLY say that if Dad is late he forfeits the whole day and must wait for his next visitation day?

The police aren't discriminating against you. Please.

And have you actually gone to court and been held in contempt? Or is that just a threat?

Okay, you were working - who had the child?

Why do you think Dad shouldn't pick up kiddo when you're working?

And seriously - answer the questions. That REALLY IMPORTANT question I asked.

(I'm getting the feeling that this is either Dad or his partner posting to see the reaction to what Mom is doing..)

This is the last time I'm going to ask the CRITICAL question.

DOES YOUR COURT ORDER SPECIFICALLY SAY THAT HE FORFEITS VISITATION IF HE IS X HOURS LATE?

And WHO had the child while you were working?

    Let's try this again.

    Please answer yes or no.

Does your order SPECIFICALLY say that if Dad is late he forfeits the whole day and must wait for his next visitation day? Yes, or no?

And have you actually gone to court and been held in contempt? Yes, or no?
