What is the Total Cost of the Pardon Process
My question involves criminal records for the state of: Ohio

I'm thinking about going through the pardon process for my criminal record because im not eligible for an expungement. I believe that there is no application fee in Ohio but was wanting to know what some of your total costs for the whole process was? Thanks

If you do it yourself, the cost is paper, ink and a stamp. If you hire somebody, the cost is whatever they charge you for their services.

You'll have to pay to have your records copied which is negligible. There doesn't appear to be any "costs' associated with the filing or hearings. You should ask a lawyer about the fees (his and others), but I suspect that it will probably run you in the $1000-2000 to do the basic filings. Then if he accompanies you to the DRC interview and subsequently a hearing, it will probably run a bit more for his time.

Did you read all the stuff on the DRC site?
