Child Support Account Shows Payments That Were Not Received
My question involves child support in the State of: Florida
I am amazed when going through my support payments in this state that were supposed to be deducted to me, in my research above thousands of dollars have posted to my account through CSE but were never received by me. After going through the record like I am supposed to be a CPA, the payments I was told were held for several reasons, however they did come off of the total that was owed to me. And they are saying now the account is overpaid. I was on the phone for several hours this morning dealing with this in the state of Florida. This has been ongoing and very frustrating. However, during this time, my ex has purchased thousands of dollars of large ticket items in his name. There have been for the last several months where my ex has slowly been taking my children as well. We just went through a contempt hearing and I never received the paperwork I was supposed by anyone, which was what the hearing was about. I have no clue who does the accounting in this state but is the most confusing thing I have ever seen. How do you rectify when they say they are sending you thousands of dollars and you can prove otherwise? Not only that they entered a letter on our case stated it was paid in full. It was not. My ex and his wife and vindictive people and have done several things that were fairly massive involving the county system to come after me, including my children. Has been quite a hardship. I feel at this point my children are being held backwards ransom. And on the numbers, still getting the runaround. Plus I started receive at least 100 spam emails per day on very personal distasteful subjects. This also started happening during my divorce, its amazing what they do when they are feeling empowered. Its ridiculous.
Re: Child Support Account Shows Payments That Were Not Received
If payments are going into the support agency's system, and are being paid out to you, the money is going somewhere. Find out from the agency where they are sending the money. If it turns out that the payments aren't coming to you, you and the agency can figure out why and can determine what steps should be taken to correct the problem.
